TO ORGANIZE, charter and supervise services to be known as SMA-AA.
TO COORDINATE the activities and standardize the administration of SMA AA.
TO CREATE and foster a spirit of understanding among the Alumnus.
TO PROMOTE the principles of our Alma Mater St. Mary’s of Angels.
TO TAKE an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the SMA-AA.
TO UNITE the Alumnus in the bonds of friendship, good fellowship and mutual understanding.
TO PROVIDE a forum for the open discussion of all matters of SMA-AA interest

As a student from nursery to class 12th, then teacher of engineering drawing from 1983 to 2000, parent of my daughters and son studying in school , member of parent teachers association for at least 15 years…. and still associated with St Mary’s… and my wishes to be associated till last breath of my life.
The best time of my life was being a teacher of this school …… love and respect received during that period and after that was beyond all wealth and satisfaction
I used to quote two phrases in the class and mentioned that to all 16 batches sky is the limit and Aim higher so that you can land somewhere keeping this phrases in mind I tried to form this Alumni Association for all of you and for coming generations.

Board Responsibilities:
Members of the SMA Alumni Association, Board of Directors receive tremendous personal satisfaction by giving of themselves to their alma mater and to fellow alumni.
In accepting the appointment, Board members agree to fulfill the responsibilities associated with Board membership:
- Regular attendance at the Board meetings.
- Attendance at campus alumni programs when possible, including Homecoming.
- Assistance with planning and implementing alumni programs once a year.
- Planning regular events, meetings, programs to keep the Alumni Association live and running.
- Service on standing committee(s) of the Board and active participation in the functions of the committees (awards, finance and investment, new directors, planning and membership).
- Loyalty toward the Board and confidentiality regarding its internal affairs as discussed at Board meetings.
- Seeking out and encouraging talented alumni for volunteer roles such as the Board of Directors or House of Delegates.
- Service as an ambassador and advocate for the Alumni Association.
- Assisting the School and the Office of Alumni Relations and Alumni Association in identifying and implementing programming that will enhance the student experience at the School, thus helping to mold more loyal alumni.
- Becoming familiar with the programs and activities sponsored, organized, and coordinated by the Office of Alumni Relations and Alumni Association and participating in them to the extent possible. Staying abreast of campus news by reading alumni publications and other School material.
- Offering ideas to help make the Board of Directors and the Alumni Association more meaningful to the alumni constituency.
- Helping the Office of Alumni Relations and Alumni Association staff evaluate programs and taking initiative in informing them of opportunities for program development and/or funding.
- Providing sensitivity and support to School staff members and other Board members as they perform their duties.
